Your donation means the world to the cats here at Cat Haven. Your donation goes directly to the over 7,000 cats we receive each year, this directly helps with feeding, vet treatments, cleaning, finding foster homes if they are struggling in the shelter environment, enrichment toys, medication, and much much more. 

There are many ways you can donate to Cat Haven and we appreciate your help keeping cats off the street.

We are always in need of:

- Towels
- Carriers, fabric or plastic
- Blankets for the cats, fleece or knitted
- Paper litter
- Treats
- Toys

Please check with us if you are donating anything other than these, we cannot accept quilts, pillows, fitted sheets and other items, these cost us money to recycle or dispose of admin@cathaven.com.au

Leave a legacy in your Will

Perhaps a cat has played an important part in yours or a loved one's lives. Or you simply care about animal welfare. Why not leave a legacy by leaving funds or property to Cat Haven in your will.

Making sure your gift is managed well

Our current site which has served us well for over 60 years needs to be rebuilt as we can only hold a maximum of 400 cats and are often full. We are working towards this every year. Your bequest would help us redevelop the shelter over time and keep more cats alive and rehomed to loving homes. 

All of the costs of running our services have to be raised by us each year. We receive less than 2% of our running costs from government funding, to operate any of our services and we have to rely on the generosity of the general public. Any bequests are invested carefully and the interest is used across our annual budget to cover our running costs where needed.
